Cambridge Casual – User-Generated Content (UGC) Terms & Conditions

Hello, and thank you!

We’re thrilled to see how our customers bring their outdoor spaces to life with Cambridge Casual furniture. Whether you're sharing your photos, videos, or reviews on social media or submitting a review directly on our website, your stories inspire us and the Cambridge Casual community.

By submitting or posting a review, photo, video, or other content through our website, or by responding to our request with the hashtag #mycambridgecasual on third-party platforms, you agree to the following User-Generated Content Terms and Conditions.


Terms & Conditions

  1. Scope of These Terms

    These Terms apply to any content (photos, videos, text, reviews, testimonials, or other materials) that you:

    • Submit directly on the Cambridge Casual website (including product reviews and photo uploads); or
    • Post publicly on third-party platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, or LinkedIn (collectively, "Third-Party Platforms"), and grant us permission to use.

  2. License to Use Your Content

    By granting permission or submitting content, you give Cambridge Casual a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, and irrevocable license to:

    • Use, reproduce, modify, adapt, edit, publish, translate, display, perform, distribute, archive, and create derivative works from your Content.
    • Use your Content in any media now known or developed in the future, including but not limited to our website, social media, email campaigns, printed materials, packaging, and advertising.
    • Use your name, username, social media handle, likeness, caption, and/or location in connection with the Content.

  3. Modification and Editorial Rights

    You allow Cambridge Casual to:

    • Crop, resize, alter the format, or otherwise modify the Content for design or editorial purposes
    • Use the Content in whole or in part, alone or in combination with other materials. You waive the right to inspect or approve the final version or any use of your Content.

  4. Ownership and Representations

    You retain ownership of your content. However, you represent and warrant that:

    • You are at least 18 years old
    • You own the content or have full rights and permissions to grant us usage.
    • Your content does not infringe any third-party rights (including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights).
    • The Content complies with all applicable laws and platform guidelines.

  5. Right to Decline or Remove

    We reserve the right to

    • Decline to use or to remove your Content from any Cambridge Casual media at any time, for any reason.
    • Disregard Content that is corrupted, illegible, inappropriate, or otherwise non-compliant with these terms.
    If you delete the original post from your social platform, we will make reasonable efforts to remove the Content from our platforms if technically feasible.

  6. No Compensation

    Unless stated otherwise in a specific promotion or marketing campaign, you will not receive any payment, royalties, or compensation for the use of your Content.

    If a campaign clearly offers compensation (e.g., prizes or gift cards), those terms will be detailed separately and apply only to that promotion.

     

  7. Attribution

    Where possible, we’ll credit your handle or name when sharing your Content. However, you understand and agree that attribution may not always be possible and is not guaranteed.

     

  8. Changes to These Terms

    Cambridge Casual may update or revise these UGC Terms at any time. Continued content submission or use of our branded hashtags after changes indicates acceptance. Please review these terms periodically.


Want Us to Remove Your Content?

If you change your mind and would like us to stop using your Content, just email us at usercontent@cambridge-casual.com with a link to, or description of, the post where we’ve used your content, and we will remove it as soon as reasonably possible.
