Cracking after one season

I LOVED these chairs so I spent the money and ordered for my covered balcony. After one season the cushion covers are cracking and breaking when you sit on them. They stick out because they are broken and scratch you. I paid top dollar for this chair and am so disappointed.

Seat covers did not hold up. Falling apart.

The seat covers faded badly and actually cracked / broke just from the cold weather. These were too expensive to last one season.

What is the weight capacity for one chair? It says 250 pounds but then I read 500 pounds in another Q&A. Will it hold a 300 pound person?
